NO SURPRISES REALLY FROM LAST NIGHT'S RESULTS. BUT I AM SURPRISED BY A FEW PERFORMANCES.
Chris Bosh looked like he actually was playing with some toughness until he got in foul trouble. Gilbert Arenas scores 30 points off the bench. He was 7 of 10 from the three point line. Rondo does it again! 17 assist in a overtime win over the Grizzlies. Nazr Mohammed... Who? Nazr Mohammed is the center for the Bobcats and he had 22 points and 20 rebounds in a losing effort to the Jazz.
Speaking of the Jazz. They accomplished their fourth straight double-digit comeback win over the Bobcats. D-Will hit a floater with .08 left on the clock. WOW!!!!!
Could the Jazz be a threat out west this year? Only time will tell.
TONIGHT'S GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!
NBA action starts today at 2 o'clock with the T'Wolves and the Hawks. The only thing to watch in this game is how many rebounds Kevin Love will get. How will he follow up his 31 points and 31 rebound game on friday?
Next at 6 o'clock is what Smitty "The Postman" would call an AAU game. Two young teams in the Pistons and Kings will battlein Sacramento.
Young and Upcoming vs. Old and Experienced is how I would describe the next game. The Spurs will quietly travel to OKC and take on the Thunder. Both teams are looking to continue their winning streaks going.
Tonight on NBA TV the Yao-less Rockets take on Amare and the Knicks. Will the Knicks be able to defend the paint tonight unlike they did in their last game? The Rockets proved last year that they can win without Yao.
The last game tonight is going to take place out west between the Suns and the Lakers at Staples Center. I hope Kobe and Fisher talked to their team and can start stacking up the wins again. Steve Nash has a lot on his plate nowadays. He could be traded, his son was just born on friday, and even with that his wife wants a divorce. Hopefully that doesn't effect his play.
