Who Really is an All Star

The All Star ballot was released a few days ago and the people who decided on these players was a group of reporters from espn and yahoo sports. Then you know the NBA wants to keep the fans involved and let them vote which has too much of an impact on the teams. Allen Iverson might make the team again. David Stern needs to get a staff of people that actually work for the NBA like assistant coaches or scouts and come up with who should be considered an All Star. Then they should release the ballots later. This should be fixed soon!!!!!!!!!!!

BEASLEY, BOSH, BEASLEY?

Last night the T'Wolves had to play Blake Griffin and the Clippers. This game came down to the final seconds. With 2.3 left on the game clock hit a pull up jumper to put the Wolves up by two and go on to win the game. Beasley? Michael Beasley? Number two pick who in the shadow of D-Wade was starting to be labeled as a bust? Beasley? Yes Michael Beasley is finally showing the potential everyone expected him to have after college. These last three games he has averaged near 33 points per. If he keeps this up he might have his break out year.

D-Wade and LeBrons side kick finally had a good game. Last night against an undersized Sun's team Chris Bosh had a season high of 35 points. After watching this game then seeing the performance Beasley put on, I came to the realization that Chris Bosh is nothing but a third option role player like Beasley was last year. If you notice a lot of people were bashing Beasley last year for his inconsistent playing and a lot of people are doing the same this year with Chris Bosh.

Some guys in order to be productive have to be the star or the go to guy. I think that's what Bosh and Beasley both are comfortable doing but Beasley finally got his break and is now able to be that kind of player and display his talents.

A HOT NIGHT IN THE NBA

NBA action starts off tonight very very VERY hot at 7 o'clock with a math up between the Suns and the Heat in South Beach. The Heat are going to try to get the critics off of their back and maybe start a little wining streak. The Suns won't be a walk over win though. The Suns come into this game shooting the lights out against the Nuggets and the Lakers. This game will be decided by who shoots the three point shot the best. The Heat's big 2 and Chris Bosh are surrounded by nothing but shooters and everybody who plays for the Suns can shoot. Chris Bosh may actually have a good game since he doesn't have to go up against anyone too much bigger then him. In all reality the deciding factor will be defense and the Heat's defense is way better then the Suns. Even though sometimes the Suns best defense is not there zone but it is their offense.
The players aren't the only things under the radar tonight. A recent push by the fans to fire head coach Mike D'Antoni can't go unnoticed and since the heat are not playing up to par many believe that Eric Spolstra might be the next to lose his job as well.
This game is definitely going to be intense...... on and off the court.

LAST NIGHT AND TONIGHT

There are now no undefeated teams in the NBA. Last night the Mavs gave the Hornets their first loss of the season, beating them 98 to 95. Another winning streak was ended by Kevin Durant. He and the Thunder put a stop to the Jazz's 5 game comeback winning streak. 1 is the certainly the loneliness number. The Clippers remain the only team left in the NBA with only 1 win.

Tonight there are 7 good games. Carmelo will be traveling to one of the teams he was rumored to be traded to. Tonight the Nuggets take on the Knicks. John Wall will be making another career first tonight. Tonight he will miss his first game against the Raptors. Since it is Tuesday that means it is Fan Night on NBA TV. The fans have spoken and want to see the Blazers take on the Grizzlies.

WHO WILL WIN????????????????

TONIGHT IN THE NBA THERE ARE 7 GAMES. 5 OF THOSE GAMES ARE BEING PLAYED OUT WEST. THE TWO GAMES IN THE EAST ARE MINNESOTA @ CHARLOTTE AND MEMPHIS @ ORLANDO. MEMPHIS AND MINNESOTA ARE TWO YOUNG TEAMS THAT WOULD JUST BE THRILLED TO HAVE AN 8 SPOT IN THE PLAYOFFS. IF THE GRIZZLIES WERE IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE LAST YEAR THEY WOULD OF MADE THE PLAYOFFS. AND IF KEVIN LOVE GOES OUT THERE AND HAS 30-30 GAMES EVERY NIGHT THEN THE GRIZZLIES MIGHT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR TOO.
THERE IS ANOTHER GREAT POINT GUARD MATCH UP TONIGHT WITH J-KIDD AND CP3 IN DALLAS. THIS MIGHT THE HORNETS TOUGHEST MATCH UP SO FAR BESIDES THE MIAMI HEAT GAME. CP3 IS GOING TO TRY AND MAKE SURE HIS TEAM STAYS UNBEATEN TONIGHT.
THE PISTONS WILL BEING GOING OUT TO CALI TODAY TO PLAY THE WARRIORS. THE WARRIORS ARE WITHOUT DAVID LEE BUT II'M SURE THAT WONT STOP MONTA ELLIS FROM HAVING A GREAT GAME. I HOPE STEPHEN CURRY IS WEARING HIS ANKLE BRACES TIGHT TONIGHT.
GOING FOR 2!!!!!!!!!!! THE CLIPPERS WILL TRY TO GET THEIR SECOND WIN OF THE YEAR AGAINST THE NEW JERSEY NETS. THE NETS ARE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE WITH WINS ACCORDING TO LAST YEAR.
THE COMEBACK KIDS GET TO PLAY AT HOME IN UTAH TONIGHT. HOW MANY POINTS WILL THEY DURANTCHULA SCORE TONIGHT BEFORE THEY MAKE AN ANOTHER AMAZING COMEBACK WIN.

LAST NIGHT and TONIGHT

NO SURPRISES REALLY FROM LAST NIGHT'S RESULTS. BUT I AM SURPRISED BY A FEW PERFORMANCES.

Chris Bosh looked like he actually was playing with some toughness until he got in foul trouble. Gilbert Arenas scores 30 points off the bench. He was 7 of 10 from the three point line. Rondo does it again! 17 assist in a overtime win over the Grizzlies. Nazr Mohammed... Who? Nazr Mohammed is the center for the Bobcats and he had 22 points and 20 rebounds in a losing effort to the Jazz.

Speaking of the Jazz. They accomplished their fourth straight double-digit comeback win over the Bobcats. D-Will hit a floater with .08 left on the clock. WOW!!!!!

Could the Jazz be a threat out west this year? Only time will tell.

TONIGHT'S GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!

NBA action starts today at 2 o'clock with the T'Wolves and the Hawks. The only thing to watch in this game is how many rebounds Kevin Love will get. How will he follow up his 31 points and 31 rebound game on friday?

Next at 6 o'clock is what Smitty "The Postman" would call an AAU game. Two young teams in the Pistons and Kings will battlein Sacramento.

Young and Upcoming vs. Old and Experienced is how I would describe the next game. The Spurs will quietly travel to OKC and take on the Thunder. Both teams are looking to continue their winning streaks going.

Tonight on NBA TV the Yao-less Rockets take on Amare and the Knicks. Will the Knicks be able to defend the paint tonight unlike they did in their last game? The Rockets proved last year that they can win without Yao.

The last game tonight is going to take place out west between the Suns and the Lakers at Staples Center. I hope Kobe and Fisher talked to their team and can start stacking up the wins again. Steve Nash has a lot on his plate nowadays. He could be traded, his son was just born on friday, and even with that his wife wants a divorce. Hopefully that doesn't effect his play.

CHRIS PAUL IS GOING TO TRY THE HORNETS' STREAK GOING AGAINST THE BLAZERS
THE SCORING DUO OF CURRY AND ELLIS WILL PLAY THE TALENTED BUCKS TONIGHT.
A YOUNG 76ERS TEAM WILL GO UP AGAINST THE SILENT BUT DEADLY SPURS.

Nov 12, 2010

5-4..... That is the record of the big 2 and Chris Bosh in South Beach. But D-Wade claims that they are the best 5-4 team. I wonder if he knows that there is only one other 5-4 team in the league, and that is the Denver Nuggets who surprised the Lakers yesterday by making two big runs in the 4th quarter. The Nuggets bench came in and gave the team a huge spark led by J.R. Smith and Ty Lawson.

Nov 11, 2010

The Bulls just destroyed the Warriors 120 to 90. Luol had 26 points and D-Rose had 22. In a losing effort Monta Ellis had 24 and Curry had 17. David Lee for Golden State was inactive for this game.

The Celtics look like they are going to beat the Heat for the second time this year. they are up by 11 with 6 minutes to go. Ray Allen is having a great game shooting from the 3 points line. He is 7 of 8 from behind the arch.

Up next is the Laker and Nugget game in Denver.
GREAT SHOW TONIGHT WITH THE OLD SCHOOL GUYS GOING UP AGAINST THE NEW SCHOOL GUYS.

TONIGHT I'M READY TO SEE THE CELTICS TAKE ON THE BIG 2 AND CHRIS BOSH. THEN THE WARRIORS ARE TAKING ON THE BULLS. THE DEFENDING CHAMPS TAKE ON MELO AND THE NUGGETS.

STAR FILLED NIGHT TONIGHT. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!!!!!!

November 9, 2010 Games

Crazy night in the NBA last night. First starting with the Pacers' record setting night. Last night the Indiana Pacers played Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets. In the 3rd quarter the Pacers scored 54 points. Then went on to win the game 144 to 113. Mike Dunleavy looking to get back into form by scoring a game high of 31 points.

Also last night it was the first annual "No LeBron Bowl" with angame between the Cavs and the Nets. Cavs add another win to their record after traveling to New Jersey and coming away with a 93 to 91 victory. J.J. Hickson led the Cavs with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

If you were to read this next game on paper you wouldn't even look at the score. The Jazz went to South Beach and had to play the Miami Heat. In this game the Jazz trailed by 22 at half time, D-Wade scored 39 points, LeBron had his first triple - double as a member of the Heat, Al Jefferson was 1 for 7 from the field, and Deron Williams fouls out. By reading this the Heat must of won by 50 right? Wrong! Paul Millsap steps up in the 4th quarter and hits 3 three pointers in a row and makes the layup at the buzzer to tie the game and send it into overtime. In OT the Jazz overcome the hot hand of D-Wade and sneak away with a 2 point victory. Paul Millsap had a career scoring night with 46 points. Way to go Paul! The question still remains. Can the Heat compete with the West?

The other games of the night were not that surprising. The Hornets stay undefeated and beat the Clippers 101 to 82. The Bucks get back on track and beat the Knicks 107 to 80. The Trailblazers stand strong at home and beat the Pistons 100 to 78. Last but not least the defending champion LA Lakers beat the T'Wolves in the leagues "Best vs. Worst Battle" by a score of 99 to 94.
